When air freight is the right choice
Air freight is the fastest way to deliver cargo from supplier to end user. It is chosen when time matters most: samples, spare parts, urgent supplies for production.
It is also often not the most expensive option for small consignments of up to 300 kg.
What the cost depends on
Air freight is charged by chargeable weight: the actual weight of the cargo is compared with its volumetric weight and the greater of the two is used. So to calculate a rate we need not only the weight but also the dimensions of each package.
A light but bulky shipment can cost more than a heavy, compact one.
The cost is also affected by the route, the nature of the cargo and urgency. There are no ready-made prices on the website: we calculate each consignment individually, with a preliminary calculation within 1–2 days.
What the transport arrangement includes
We handle the cargo door to door. A personal manager is assigned to your shipment. We arrange customs clearance ourselves.
The manager keeps you informed on the progress of the cargo and requests the clearance documents in advance. The transport arrangement includes:
- collection of the cargo from the supplier
- delivery to the departure airport and preparation of documents
- the flight
- customs clearance on arrival
- delivery to the consignee’s warehouse
What we need for a quote
If the cargo requires special transport conditions, tell us right away: this determines whether it can be carried by air.
Send the cargo details via Telegram or by email (contacts):
- exact name of the cargo, for classification under the HS (TN VED) code
- gross and net weight, volume of the consignment
- place and date of departure
- place of delivery
- your preferences on delivery method and transit time

How much does air freight cost?
The cost depends on the route, actual and volumetric weight, the nature of the cargo and urgency. There are no ready-made prices on the website. We prepare a preliminary calculation for your consignment within 1–2 days.
How many days does air delivery take?
Transit time depends on the route, flight schedules and customs clearance. We give an indication of transit time together with the cost calculation, within 1–2 days of your request.
What is volumetric weight?
It is a calculated weight derived from the dimensions of the cargo. A light but bulky shipment takes up a lot of space on the aircraft, so it is charged by volume rather than by kilograms. For a quote, please send the weight and dimensions of each package.
Is it worth sending a small consignment by air?
Often it is. In the company’s experience, for consignments of up to 300 kg air freight is often not the most expensive way to deliver. When calculating, we compare it with other options.
Can any cargo be sent by air?
No. There are restrictions for dangerous goods and for cargo that does not fit the size and weight limits. We check whether each item can be carried when we prepare the quote.
What documents are needed for air freight?
Usually these are the foreign trade contract, invoice, packing list and air waybill. Some goods require permits. The exact list depends on the goods.
Our consignment is heavy. Is air freight the only fast option?
Not necessarily. For heavy consignments it is worth comparing air freight with road freight and a multimodal solution. We will calculate the options and show you the difference in cost and transit time.
