What is financial logistics

Financial logistics is the organisation of settlements in a foreign trade transaction: how payment reaches the supplier and how it relates to the shipment and the documents.

We help arrange payment to a foreign supplier under a foreign trade contract. We work in line with Russian currency regulations.

How payment relates to transport

Payment, shipping and customs clearance depend on one another. The amount and payment terms in the contract must match the invoice and the documents later submitted for customs clearance.

When one team handles both settlements and transport, discrepancies in the documents are easier to spot before the cargo is dispatched.

That is why payment terms are best agreed with the supplier before the contract is signed, not after.

Terms are discussed individually for each transaction. So that we can tell you how we can help and on what terms, tell us about the deal:

• what goods you are buying and where the supplier is located
• on what terms the contract has been concluded or is being prepared
• which documents you already have: contract, invoice, specification
• when shipment is planned
