Two directions, one way of working
From Europe to Turkey and from Turkey to Europe we ship by the same scheme: collection from the sender’s warehouse, transport, handover to the consignee. One manager looks after the whole route. Such a shipment can be a task in its own right or part of a long supply chain: for example, when European components go to Turkish production. We state the cost and transit time in the estimate.
Transport
Turkey has a land border with the European Union, so the main method is road transport, which carries cargo door to door. Containers and large consignments are sent by sea across the Mediterranean. Air freight suits urgent shipments. Small consignments travel as groupage cargo. The methods can be combined in a multimodal shipment. The choice depends on weight, volume and urgency.
The customs side
Between the European Union and Turkey there is a customs union, which covers industrial goods. The status of such goods is confirmed by an A.TR certificate, and they are then imported duty-free. Different rules apply to agricultural products. Clearance on both sides is carried out by the sender and the consignee or their brokers. We agree the document set with them before shipment. The usual set: contract, invoice, packing list and transport document.

How long does cargo take between Europe and Turkey?
Transit time depends on the country of departure, the route and the mode of transport. We give it in the estimate together with the cost.
You are a Russian company. Can you arrange transport without the cargo entering Russia?
Yes, we also organise shipments between third countries. The manager works with the sender and the consignee remotely, and we accept documents by email.
What is an A.TR certificate and who issues it?
It is a document confirming that the goods are in free circulation in the European Union or Turkey. It is issued by the sender in the country of export. With it, industrial goods are imported without customs duty.
Can I send several pallets?
Yes, we calculate such consignments as groupage cargo. We will tell you in the estimate whether a suitable groupage shipment is available for your dates.
Will you collect the cargo from the supplier’s warehouse?
